The Origins Centre is a registered charitable, not-for-profit NGO founded in 1983. We are a respite, retreat and community activity centre located just outside the town of Balingup, 2.5 - 3 hours south west of Perth, Western Australia. More information about the town can be found here and here.
The Centre welcomes individuals and groups for respite, retreat, activities, courses and events. Accommodation, amenities and facilities are available by donation. At the moment we are only accepting guests when courses and retreats are taking place. Please see our Update and Calendar of Events pages to find out when courses and retreats are taking place. Occasionally we can accept Bibbulmun Track walkers. All guests make their accommodation booking in advance of their stay. There are private and shared rooms as well as a communal kitchen and living space. Please see the Origins Centre page for more information. To make a booking or inquiry, it's best to e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org

Mindfulness means respect, calm, thoughtfulness and action : something we all aspire to encourage.
On Tuesday at 8.30am and Friday mornings from 8am we do traditional mindfulness support exercises in the Rotunda at Origins. These exercises are understandable and meditative. They are called 'The setting up of mindfulness'.
There are retreats in May and again in September. For information on upcoming events, please see our Calendar of Events or our Facebook page.
